Chinatown / Little Italy / Nolita / Soho

Here we will immerse ourselves in Asian and Italian cultures and visit a new and ever changing Chinatown, Little Italy, Nolita and Soho neighborhoods. A fun time and good food when we visit many of the following places:

 Chinatown

  • Mott Street, Chinatown’s main street with bustling twisted side streets filled with restaurants, shops and temples as well as lots of people

  • The city’s oldest row house

Little Italy

  • Narrow busy streets with old tenement buildings.

  • Family owned Italian fine food establishments.

  • A shop specializing in home-made Ravioli.

  • Former Police Headquarters Building – now condominiums and home to celebrity tenants.

Nolita – “NOrth of Little ITAly

  • Home to cutting edge boutiques and restaurants.

  • An outdoor sculpture garden.

  • Old St. Patrick’s Cathedral.

  • A Romanesque revival building that was first used by the printing industry and is now a condominium for the arts.

Soho – SOuth of HOuston Street

  • Formerly warehouses, and famous for its cast iron buildings.

  • Clothing and accessories boutiques – Upscale innovatively designed shops.

  • Home Design Shops – a fantastic example of expensive and exquisite home furnishings and home accessories.

  • Fancy Food Emporiums
